Strategy
Here are some quick tips to get you help you get the most out of Shit Boots.
- Pick the best cards to save for last. Wilds and high cards should be placed face-up and used as your "boots".
- While not an official rule, starting the game out with low cards helps ensure that you can get rid of them.
- Saving an 8 is a good idea. It will clear out the discard deck if it gets to be large and will give you another turn.
- Remember that playing an 8 or Joker gives you another turn. If you have less than 3 cards in hand, you may draw another card to choose from before taking your next turn. If not, play another card (or multiple ones: see below) before the computer takes its turn.
- If you have three 7's in your hand, play all three in one turn. Simply hold down the shift key while discarding the first two 7's. Remember to not use the shift key for dragging the third one. Once the third one is placed and you have drawn cards (if needed), the computer will take its turn.
